Basic Function Coordinates and controls dietary activities in the Hospital Includes, entering all department recipes on the nutrition database for composition analysis, inspecting the daily assembly line for portions, quality, quantity, temperature and appearance of food served to patients to meet department standards, monitoring the training of new staff on the proper implementation of the HACCP standards and inspecting its application, preparing the weekly list of food choices sent to the obstetric unit and daycare, assisting dietetic interns in their food production rotation, participating in designing special menus for different population (pediatrics, geriatrics) Performs other related duties such as assuring the proper implementation of policies and procedures and assisting in any assigned task based on department needs Candidates should meet the following requirements BSc in Nutrition and Dietetics plus 6 months to 1 year internship in a University Hospital Having the dietetic license from the Ministry of Health in Lebanon 1 to 2 years experience in food safety and quality assurance Great attention to detail & conscientiousness in daily work Good Interpersonal & Communication skills Good Command of English Language Computer literate
